We ALL become Depressed from time to time or is it Grief? We experience loss, losing a job, losing a loved one, stress takes over and we feel a loss of control leading to feelings of depression.

Addressing depression is as important as addressing physical illness. If you have a sinus infection, you visit your physician to manage your symptoms. The same is true for depression or other mental illnesses we ALL experience throughout our life. When one is experiencing mental ailments, talk to a Counselor/Therapist, to learn how to manage the symptoms you are experiencing. Journal your feelings and thoughts now until you can see your Counselor/Therapist, it’ll help get your feelings out, on paper, and not held inside.

What is depression and what can I do about it?

Depression is a chronic feeling of emptiness, sadness, or inability to feel pleasure that may appear to happen for no clear reason. It is distinct from grief and other emotions.
